Sambal is a flavor enhancer in Indonesia, but the hot stuff has found its way to other Asian cuisines . Moreover, in Suriname sambal an important part of the kitchen now .

What is sambal ?

Sambal is traditionally ground chilies ( or Tjabe Lombok in Indonesia are mentioned) .
