Cook spaghetti in a large pot. Drain and set aside. 2. Cut the ham into small pieces. Place in a skillet. Add onion and olives. Cook over medium heat for 3 minutes. 3. Add ingredients from skillet (ham, onion, olives) to spaghetti. 4. Add arugula, cheese and lemon juice to spaghetti. Mix well. 5. Divide the spaghetti onto 4 serving plates. Place tomato quarters (4 each) on top of the plates of spaghetti. Drizzle olive oil over the tomatoes. Serve and enjoy!

If the turkey has been frozen, it will take 24 hours of defrosting in the refrigerator for every five pounds of weight. The fridge is the safest way to defrost. Use a shallow roasting pan. A dark pan is better than a shiny one, because the dark pan will cook the turkey faster. Cover that bad boy with butter. Do not be shy, because this is the holiday season. If you want to stuff it, then stuff it, but do so just before you put the bad boy in the oven, because you do not want the bacteria. Put a triple layer of aluminum foil under the bird on the roasting pan. OK, here are some choices for you. Do not freak out, please! You can cover the bird or not cover the bird. You can cover it with a lid to the pan. You can bag it in a roasting bag. It is not recommended that you use a paper shopping bag, because most are recycled these days. The equation is usually so many hours per pound. But it varies, so ask your butcher. She or he knows everything. Last step is to pull the perfectly cooked, delicious holiday turkey out of the oven, and enjoy. I told you this would be easy. Now you have turkey cooking tips, and cooking turkey tips. Pop/Dance Celebrity Heather Schmid Performs at the National Charm Star Competition in Nanjing China

In a festival merging Eastern and Western musical traditions, the National Chinese Charm Star Competition in Nanjing China awarded cash prizes, large trophies and plaques to winners in three categories: Musician, Singer and Model. Some eager competitors performed using Chinese instruments like the Pipa and Guchen. Others wowed the audience and judges with classical piano sonatas. But it was a traditional folk melody fused with jazz improvisations that won over the title for Charm Star Best Musician. Much to the enjoyment of Schmid, resident expert Recording Artist, the five finalists for Charm Star Best Singer all performed all American pop songs.

Pop, Opera, and a Chinese Folk Songs all contributed to the l ive show Schmid performed at the competition. Dancers backed up Save the Night and Mo Li Hua as Schmid belted out the choruses and riffed ad libs to a cheering audience.

Before the live final competition, Schmid and Berklee Professor of Guitar, Jonathan Finn, each gave a master class to students from the Nanjing Normal University. Finn played guitar, providing examples and jamming with student players. Schmid spoke about the differences between performing and singing Opera and Pop music. Schmid and Finn, along with entertainment corporation Goddess Inc.s CEO Rafay Mehdi, also met and discussed similarities with musicians in the US and China with University department heads.

Day 45: Olympic Flame to Visit Foxton Locks and Coventry Cathedral on Journey from Coventry to Leicester

On Monday 2 July, the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay presented by Coca-Cola, Lloyds TSB and Samsung will travel 100.95 miles through 16 communities on its journey from Coventry to Leicester.

The Relay will travel through the following communities: Coventry, Rugby, Dunchurch, Northampton, Wellingborough, Isham, Kettering, Geddington, Corby, Dingley, Market Harborough, Lubenham, Foxton, Kibworth Harcourt, Oadby, Leicester.

Highlights for today include:

At 07.08 the Flame will visit Coventry Cathedral when the first Torchbearer of the day - Ali Abdillahi - will run through the grounds of the Cathedral. Ali has been nominated by Coventry City Council for his sporting and educational achievements.

During the day, the Flame will also visit Althorp House in Northampton and Coventry City Football Club.

At 16.08 the Flame will be taken on a canal boat at Foxton Locks by David Willson, 48 from Hollowell. David spends his time volunteering and serving others and is hoping to encourage hundreds of families around the London area to host 1000 Olympic and Paralympic Family members in their homes for free during the Olympic and Paralympic Games. These families would not otherwise be able to afford to come to the Games and see their relatives compete. This program has already received the LOCOG Inspire Mark and the goal is to have this program implemented at all future games.

The last Torchbearer of the day - Phil Fuller - was nominated by Leicester City Council. Phil is fully committed to changing the lives of other young people in Leicester. He is the elected representative for the Children in Care Council for Leicester. Phil has played a vital role in the setting up of the Children in Care Council, and the development of the Children In Care Council Pledge. This pledge has now gone live across the City. Phil has grown from strength to strength as a representative of young people in the City in particular representing a very vulnerable section of society.

The evening celebration will take place in Abbey Park, Leicester. The celebration will feature a variety of entertainment staged by LOCOG and the three Presenting Partners of the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay - Coca-Cola, Lloyds TSB and Samsung.

The line-up includes music from Morning Parade, a dance troupe who will provide a unique fusion of street performance, theatre and sport and dance act Twist and Pulse.

The Philharmonia will present a special performance of Bamboozled, a high energy, audience participation piece featuring Leicester schools accompanied by a specially recorded video performance by the orchestra.

Towards the end of the two-hour show, the last Torchbearer of the day Phil Fuller - will light a celebration cauldron on stage at the event which will enable the Olympic Flame to be seen by the audience.

James Williams, Director, Olympic Torch Relay, Coca-Cola Northwest Europe & Nordics, said: Today, more Coca-Cola Future Flames will help us celebrate the forty-fifth day of our amazing journey, including Paul Davies and Niall Graham who carry the Olympic Flame in Northampton and Corby. We will also get everyone to Move to the Beat tonight as we bring Morning Parade to the stage in Leicester.

Timothy Don, 34, who is carrying the Flame in Coventry. Since his 1st place position in the 1998 World Junior Triathlon Championships, Tim Don has been one of Britains most consistently successful athletes. Outside the walls and surrounding the old cities lie the modern industrial quarters and the rural suburbs. Despite a government preservation program, many of Beijing's historic neighborhoods have been razed in recent years to make way for the construction of new office buildings, apartment complexes, and shopping centers. Qianmen Dajie (Ch'ien-men Tai-chi), the main street running south of the Qianmen (Front) Gate, was reopened in 2009 to foot traffic only; designed as a tourist attraction, it represents an idealized version of the old Beijing residential and shopping neighborhood of Dashalar (Tai-sha-laj). Among the many new structures built for the 2008 Olympic Games, held in Beijing, is a futuristic new Olympic stadium. The National Center for the Performing Arts (opened December 2007) is the world's largest performing arts center. Like the stadium and the cantilevered towers of China Central Television's new headquarters, it has helped remake the skyline of Beijing.

Modern industries have developed rapidly in Beijing since 1949. The city now has a wide range of industries. These include iron and steel, cement, machinery, chemicals, electronics, textiles, petrochemicals, motor vehicles, and processed foods. Because the city has become very polluted, the government is trying to relocate many of its most polluting factories and extend the city's subway system. Beijing is also one of the leading centers of printing and publishing in China. Traditional handicraft articles, such as rugs, ivory and jade carvings, and cloisonné, are among the city's well-known exports.

As the national capital, Beijing is the focal point of communications and transportation in China. Railroads radiate to all major provincial capitals and industrial cities. The same pattern exists for air services. A modern highway (the longest expressway in China) opened in late 2000; it links Beijing to Shanghai via the port of Tianjin. Water transportation, however, is not as well developed as in other large Chinese cities. An underground rapid-transit system moves people within the city limits.

Beijing is China's leading center of learning and culture. Beijing University and Qinghua (Tsinghua) University (1911) are the two most respected in China. The National Library of Beijing houses a collection of 11 million volumes. More than 50 other major institutions of research and education are located in the city. The Palace Museum has the largest and most varied collection of cultural items of all museums in the country. On the grounds of Beijing University is the Arthur M. Sackler Museum of Art and Archaeology (opened 1993); it displays a collection of archaeological relics and fossils. The Beijing Opera enjoys an international reputation. The city is rich in historical sites, relics, scenic spots, and tourist attractions. The Ming Tombs (a World Heritage Site) are about 50 km (30 mi) northwest of the city. The Summer Palace, the Beihai (Pei-hai) Park, the Marco Polo Bridge, the Museum of Natural History, the Beijing Exhibition Center, the National Art Gallery, the Beijing Zoo, and many restaurants are frequented by both residents and tourists. Tourism temporarily declined after the government repression of prodemocracy demonstrators in the Tiananmen Square Massacre of June 1989, but it has since recovered.

London Olympic swimmers will take to the water without record-setting bodysuits for the first time in 16 years.

The full body suits, made famous by Ian Thorpe and Michael Phelps, were banned after swimmers broke an unprecedented number of world records at the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008 and Rome World Championships in 2009.

Full-length high-tech swimsuits were introduced before the 2000 Sydney Olympics, when swimmers turned to new water-repellent fabrics that compressed their bodies and improved their swim times. The wetsuit-like suits cut down on fatigue and gave swimmers more buoyancy and speed.

As designs became more advanced, swimmers were able to shed more seconds from their times. Sixty-six Olympic records were broken during the 2008 Games in some races the first five finishers beat the old Olympic mark.

The new rules, in effect since 2010, permit only suits from the kneecap to navel for men, and from the knee to shoulder for women.

A ban on the suits means swimmers need to rely on training and technique to improve their efficiency in the water. In London, swimmers will depend on their own fitness and technique to beat out the competition.

Brenton Ford, Head Coach at Effortless Swimming, says there has been a surge in the number of swimmers who have turned to his Mastering Freestyle Technique video program in light of the changes.
